Ft. Novosel's April: Groundbreakings, milestones, and drills

April witnessed a flurry of activity at Ft. Novosel, with several notable events leaving a mark on the military base. From joint cooperation efforts to significant construction projects and emergency preparedness drills, the month was abuzz with activity.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the Intergovernmental Support Agreement (IGSA) between the City of Enterprise and Ft. Novosel marked a significant milestone in the longstanding partnership between the two entities. This agreement, initiated in 2013 by Congressional legislation, allows for collaboration between the military and local governments in providing support services on military installations.  Maj. General Michael McCurry emphasized the deep-rooted relationship between Enterprise and Ft. Novosel, dating back to 1955, long before the IGSA was enacted.
