As a privately and publicly funded nonprofit 501c6 organization, our mission is to take the lead in promoting and marketing the assets of Dale County for new industrial opportunities and assisting our existing industries in retention and expansion.

The Wiregrass Region is named for the long-stemmed grass, Aristida stricta, native to the area's long-leaf pine ecosystem. It stretches along the coastal plain from southern Georgia and northern Florida into nine counties of southeastern Alabama:
