Voted “Most Patriotic City” by Insurify in 2020 and 2021, our community spirit shines through. Home to Fort Novosel’s U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence, Dale County celebrates its long tradition as a military community, welcoming residents from all around the globe.

Our Military Flag Program is a multi-phase project aimed at lining our streets annually with American flags for two weeks in honor of Independence Day and again for two weeks in honor of Veterans Day. Each flag has a plaque to honor an individual veteran.
